I really like how this shot turned out. We had spent a day walking around NYC in the rain, and I didn't get a single good shot. At the end of the day, we hailed a cab and headed to the Hard Rock Cafe to dry out. I really wanted to get an existing-light shot, but I was travelling light and didn't bring my tripod. I laid the camera on the table, propped it up with a salt shaker, and set the timer. With the lens zoomed out to its widest (28mm), I was able to capture what I believe to be a really interesting scene; the movement of the man on the left, oblivious to the camera, the man in the middle gazing at the Elvis jumpsuit on the wall, and my date on the right, with her warm, calming smile.
